Did you know that 50% of volunteer recruitment generates from internal staff – paid and volunteer alike?
In this vein, Volunteer Engagement wants to incentivize your recruitment efforts through our Internal Recruitment Campaign – where you can win two tickets to DISNEYLAND (among lots of other amazing prizes) by helping us grow our JFS Family.
How does it work, you ask? Each time a friend, family member or neighbor of yours attends a Volunteer Orientation or a Donuts & Discussion, you will get your name in a hat for a weekly drawing, plus a grand prize drawing at the end. We will start the drawings in June, but our recruitment efforts start TODAY!!
How long does this campaign run for? Monday, May 6 until July 31! This will be a 12-week campaign. Remember, we start the opportunity drawing in June! So, start wearing your recruitment caps today!
What are the weekly prizes? Well, do we have some fun prizes for you that include: In & Out gift cards; tickets to museums, like the Whaley House, New Children’s Museum and Midway; 10 classes to Barre Body (which is located about two-miles away!); laser tag and more!
How do I win those cool prizes? Each time you refer a friend to a Volunteer Orientation (hosted weekly) and Donuts & Discussion (hosted the first Wednesday of the month, times vary), you get a chance to win!! And, in the final week of the campaign (ending July 31), everyone who participated will have a chance to win x2 tickets to the happiest place on Earth, Disney Land! Please make sure to let VE know each time you recruit someone – you can email cheyennea@jfssd.org with the name of the potential volunteer. The VE team has also created a system to ensure we are capturing referrals at the aforementioned engagement opportunities.
