Please join us at the November Donuts & Discussion to learn about the Balboa Avenue Older Adult Center (BAOAC).
What to know more about the center? BAOAC is a safe, supportive community for older adults living with early-stage Alzheimer's and related forms of dementia. Monday-Thursday from 10am-2pm, the adult center hosts a friendly group for lunch and a full menu of activities designed to support a healthy mind, body, and soul. We also offer caregiver respite and a bi-weekly support and discussion group, delivered in partnership with Alzheimer’s San Diego.
This is an opportunity to come together as one volunteer family, enjoy donuts, meet fellow volunteers, and learn more about the Balboa Avenue Older Adult Center's approach, impact and future volunteer needs.
