Join our Dementia Friendly authorities and Alzheimer's Disease Initiative staff, Colleen Cook and Rachel Lehnert at the Toby Wells YMCA. Both Colleen and Rachel will be conducting a training that is beneficial to all of Jewish Family Service volunteers and serves our clients.
In this interactive one-hour session you will learn:
- Common signs and symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia illnesses
- What it is like to live with dementia
- Tips on how to effective communicate
- How you can collectively take action to make San Diego County a more dementia-friendly region
