Grab your favorite snack and join us from the comfort of your couch for a special, informative Donuts & Discussion about virtual Positive Parenting!
With school closures and stay-at-home protocols in place, along with the ensuing stress, confusion, and isolation such protocols induce, harmony at home is both more challenging and more important than ever.
What is the Positive Parenting Program?
The Positive Parenting Program (PPP) helps parents in San Diego County find positive solutions to common childhood behavioral issues using strategies proven by more than 35 years of research. The curriculum is based on Triple P, an evidenced-based program that has been shown to promote family harmony, reduce parent-child conflict, foster successful peer relationships, and prepare children for successful experiences at school. Positive Parenting is now offering virtual support to families throughout the county.
Used by millions of families worldwide, PPP is for any parent looking for more effective ways to:
- Raise happy, confident kids
- Manage misbehavior so everyone in the family enjoys life more
- Set rules and routines that everyone respects and follows
- Create positive learning environments
- Encourage behavior you like
- Take care of yourself as a parent
- Feel confident you’re doing the right thing
What will you learn?
You will have the chance to hear from our Director of Positive Parenting, Autumn Weidman, about the program, success stories, and what going virtual looks like for our Positive Parenting team and clients. Come join us on Wednesday, June 17th!
