Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins on Sunday night, September 25th (just as the sun sets). Sometimes Rosh Hashanah is called the “Birthday of the World”. At its core, it is all about cleaning up things in your life so that you can start the new year with a fresh slate. The genius of the High Holidays (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and the days between them) is that no matter what you believe or don’t believe, taking time each year to put forgiveness, repentance, and good deeds front and center is always a good idea.
Join us virtually at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 30th, with your own apples and honey (or creative substitutions as are available) for a Zoom meet-up. The program will be very similar to what we do onsite and is especially for staff who aren’t able to be in-person at the Jacobs campus and for volunteers and Board members.
Zoom Link will be provided on Thursday, September 29th
