Dementia Friend (Virtual) Workshop

A Dementia Friend is someone who, through viewing a series of online videos or attending a live session, learns about what it's like to live with dementia and then turns that understanding into action. 

During this one hour workshop, you will learn how to:

• Describe dementia and know the most common type of dementia
• State the five key messages about dementia
• Explain one approach to effectively communicate with a person with dementia
• Commit to an action as a Dementia Friend in their community
