The Community Need
The JFS Technology Department requires help with a significant number of computers that are approaching the end of their leases. These computers can be repurposed and donated to people who need computers rather than being thrown away as e-waste.
How You Can Help
Volunteers will work with our Technology staff to inventory and sort the devices in storage at JFS. Without the help of volunteers, the Technology team does not have the manpower to sort through and inventory all the devices and would instead be forced to send them all to e-waste. Volunteers need to be able to carry computers (mostly laptops) and move them from shelves to other shelves and into boxes. Volunteers must be able to read English letters and numbers and look for serial numbers and names on the computers.
Qualifications
· Sign volunteer waiver
· Ages 14 years old and up
